NDSCLSD is an independent Montréal atelier making made-to-measure leather goods and technical garments. Every piece — leather jackets, vests, coats, cargo pants, shirts, dresses, bags and accessories — is hand-crafted in-house and tailored to the individual client, in their choice of materials, colours and finishes. We work in full-grain cowhide, lambskin and shearling alongside technical nylon, canvas and denim, finished with YKK and 925 sterling-silver hardware. Each piece is backed by free repairs for as long as you own it, and we ship worldwide from Montréal, Québec, Canada.

We are aware of the impact that fast fashion and our current rate of consumption has on our environnement.

From manufacturing to distribution "cheap" clothes have flooded the market and left a permanent mark on our eco-system.

Rather than creating for the masses we focus on making individual showpieces that will stand through time.

We make everything ourselves from materials we want to wear.

We find creative ways to transform off-cuts in order to create intricate patchworks and accessories.

Everything that comes out of this studio is personalized and produced directly for the client. We apologize for the delays but we simply cannot manufacture such a wide variety of complex designs in large quantities and remain sustainable.

We are in love with what we do and we pay it forward by mentoring aspiring designers through internships.

The Atelier

Every NDSCLSD piece can be made to order — cut and tailored to one person, in your choice of material, colour and finish. Nothing is mass-produced; each garment is built by hand in the Montréal studio, the same way the runway pieces are made. Here is how a commission comes together.

Why made-to-measure

Working this way means we get to know you — what you need, how you move, what you'd actually wear. Most people who order once stay around; you end up part of NDSCLSD rather than a passing order.

You choose the material, the colour, the finish, and point out any detail you'd want changed. We build the piece around that — cut for you, made for you, and for no one else.

Returns

Ready-to-wear pieces may be returned within 30 days of delivery. The piece must be unworn, in its original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase (your order number counts).

Made-to-order and made-to-measure pieces are final sale — each one is cut and built for one person. Every piece, custom or not, is covered by our free repairs for life: if anything ever fails, we fix it.

To start a return: email [email protected] with your order number and we'll reply with the return address and instructions. Please don't ship anything back before hearing from us.

Partial refunds may apply to any item returned in a condition other than it was received (worn, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error).

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we inspect it and email you within 5 business days to confirm approval. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval; your bank may take a few additional days to post it.

Late or Missing Refunds

If a confirmed refund hasn't appeared, check with your bank or card issuer first — posting can take several days. Still missing? Contact us at [email protected] and we'll trace it.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are final sale.

Exchanges

We replace items that arrive defective or damaged. Email [email protected] with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right.

Return Shipping

Return shipping is at your cost and original shipping costs are non-refundable. Please use a tracked shipping service — we can't refund a return that never arrives.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law, including Quebec's legal warranty.

We collect the information you provide when you place an order or contact us — your name, email, shipping address, and payment details — solely to process orders, provide customer service, and (if you opt in) send updates about new drops.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We never store your full card details on our servers.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers to run this store: Stripe (payments and checkout), Cloudflare (website hosting, security, and privacy-first analytics), Resend (transactional email such as order and booking confirmations), and Google Fonts (typefaces served from Google's CDN). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

If you join our list, we use your email only to share drops and openings. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.

Your Data

We don't sell your personal information, and we keep order records only as long as needed for accounting and warranty (free-repairs) purposes. To access, correct, or delete your data, email [email protected] — this address is also our privacy contact under Quebec's Law 25.

Prices are in CAD and may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. Made-to-measure and made-to-order pieces have production lead times communicated at purchase.

Each piece is hand-crafted; slight variations in materials, dye, and finish are inherent to the work and not defects. Custom sizing is available on request.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NDSCLSD is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of our products or this site.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, including the legal warranty under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.

Where we ship

We ship worldwide from Montréal, Québec. Checkout currently supports Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, and Japan. Need somewhere else? Email [email protected] before ordering.

Rates

Flat-rate shipping is calculated at checkout: $15 CAD within Canada and $40 CAD international. Duties and import taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.

Lead times

Ready-to-wear & in-stock pieces: dispatched within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order & made-to-measure: hand-crafted to your measurements — typically 3–6 weeks; we confirm a timeline with you after your request.

Tracking

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number by email once your order is on its way. You can also check your order status anytime with your order number and email.
